Police are investigating an incident in which a dog has bitten a young girl on the arm.
The incident took place outside St Pauls Medical Centre, Sycamore Lane, Carlisle at 11am today (October 2).
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The dog is described as a black terrier cross.
“The owner of the dog was present but left the scene before any details were provided. He is a white male and left the area in a car, possibly a black Vauxhall Astra or grey/silver new shape Nissan Micra or similar.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the owner are asked to make contact with Cumbria Police on 101, quoting log 105 of 2nd October 2018. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be called anonymously on 0800 555 111.
