Police have released the image of a man they want to speak to after a teenage girl was raped in Orrell, Wigan.
The victim was sat on a large rock, part way along an overgrown pathway that accesses allotments in Orrell Park, off Moor Road, at around 6pm on Saturday June 30, when a man approached her.
He stopped with his back to her before turning and sitting next to her on a blue crate.
He then indecently exposed himself before raping her.
Since the incident, police have conducted numerous lines of enquiry, including forensic analysis and examination of CCTV footage.
Police have now released the image a man whom they believe could assist officers with their enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Jon Quigley from GMP’s Wigan Division said: “We understand the concern that an incident like this causes and we have a team of detectives following various lines of enquiry.
“The victim in this case has bravely come forward to police. We would ask anyone who recognises this man, or has any information, to do the same.”
