Police appeal after Carlisle hate crime

Police are investigating a hate-related incident that occurred at approximately 13:30pm on Friday 5th October 2018 at the International food store in Botchergate, Carlisle.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The incident involved a Polish female being verbally abused by an Asian male in the store that day.

“The abuse was of a racially-aggravated type and police are asking as to whether any member of the public has witnessed this incident and could assist police with their investigation quoting 158 of the 5th October 2018.”
