At 5:57pm on Saturday 13th October 2018, two fire engines from Penrith, one fire engine from Carlisle east and one fire engine from Appleby attended a rescue of a person in water incident in Cliburn, Penrith.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Fire crews rescued two people who were trapped in a vehicle in flood water using agricultural machinery.
“Crews were in attendance for one hour.”
At 6:50pm on Saturday fire engines from Kendal and Staveley were called to rescue persons in water.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Two fire engines from Kendal and one Staveley assisted persons from the vehicle.
“Crews were in attendance for one hour.”
