Firefighters tackle Milnthorpe kitchen blaze

At 2:35pm today, Wednesday 17 October two fire engines from Kendal and Milnthorpe responded to a building fire in Milnthorpe.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire.

“They remained in attendance for approximately ninety minutes.”
