Firefighters tackle Workington blaze

At 9:46pm yesterday, Friday 19 October two fire engines from Workington were called to a commercial building on fire on Moorclose Road, Workington.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The fire was involving changing rooms in commercial premises.

“One thermal imaging camera, two hose reels and four breathing apparatus were used.

“Crews were in attendance for two hours ten minutes.”
