Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted outside the Three Tuns, Whitehaven, on Monday 22nd October at approximately 3:30pm.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A man was confronted by a group of youths, one of the youths threw a plastic bottle at the man hitting him on the head, no injury was caused.
“Later that same day (22nd October) at around 5:30pm on Queen Street Whitehaven, the same man had a 2 litre bottle of Taurus cider stolen. The offender was a man unknown to the victim.”
Anyone who witnessed, or has information in regards to either of these incidents, are asked to contact police quoting log 146 of the 22nd October 2018.
