Pedestrian seriously injured in Kendal collision

The corner of Aynam Road has reopened following a road traffic collision in Kendal.

Police were called at 9:44am today (29th October), to a road traffic collision on the corner of Aynam Road Kendal.

The collision involved a Toyota Aygo and a pedestrian.

The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The pedestrian, a woman in her 50’s, has been taken to Royal Preston Hospital with serious injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

“The driver of the Toyota Aygo, a 57-year-old man from Keswick is helping police with enquires.”
