Pedestrian flown to hospital after serious collision in Ulverston

Police are dealing with a serious road traffic collision on Kings Road, Ulverston.

The incident was reported to police at 4:04pm and involved a Vauxhall Insignia and a male pedestrian.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The pedestrian has been airlifted to Preston hospital with serious injuries.

“The road is currently closed in both directions and congestion is likely in the area.”
