Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Ulverston.
At approximately 4pm yesterday (29th October) a pedestrian was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Insignia on County Road.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The pedestrian, a 92-year-old local man, was taken by air ambulance to Aintree Hospital where his condition is described as serious.
“The driver, a male in his 50s, is assisting police with their enquiries.”
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police on 101 and ask to speak to PC 563 Walsh, referencing incident 168 of 29th October 2018.
