Woman dies after falling from building in Manchester City Centre

Shortly after 11.10am on Saturday 3 November police were called to Market Street in Manchester City Centre to reports that a woman was believed to have fallen from a building.

A spokesman for GMP said: “Emergency services attended, but the woman sadly died at the scene.

“There is not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

“Another woman who was treated by paramedics at the scene received minor injuries and is now recovering at home.

“All roads have now been reopened.”
