Repair works for Sunnymeade to commence next week

Cumbria County Council will begin works to repair and improve footpaths at Sunnymeade in the Upperby area of Carlisle next week.

The works, valued at approximately £10,000, include lifting and relaying kerbs and resurfacing of the footway, and will commence from Monday 12 November for two weeks.

Local residents have been informed that there may be some disruption to parking availability during the works, which are programmed during the day time only.

Access for vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
