About 12 noon today, Thursday 15 November 2018 a two vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the A7 just north of Langholm, at the High Mill Bridge.
A bus and a lorry have collided on the bridge.
The road was completely blocked.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A number of passengers on the bus have been transported by ambulance to either the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle or Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary in Dumfries, with what are described as cuts and bruises.
“It is believe that there were about 12 passengers on the bus.
“Part of the bridge was struck in the collision and the bridge will be examined for any structural damage when the vehicles are removed.”
