Firefighters tackle Carlisle blaze

At 7:27am today, Saturday 17 November firefighters were called to a report of a building fire on Brampton Road, Carlisle.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews used six breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a main jet to extinguish the fire.

“Crews were in attendance for approximately one and a half hours.”
