Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collison that occurred on Roose Road with the junction of St Lukes Street, Barrow at approximately 9pm on Friday 16th November.
A Hyundai Getz and a Harley Davidson motorcycle were involved in the incident.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The rider, a 59-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The road was closed for four hours whilst a forensic collision investigation was carried out.”
Anybody who witnessed the collision is asked to contact either PC Oli Evans or Sgt Martin Bainbridge of the Mobile Support Group.
