Selby Coroner’s Office appeal to trace family of Darren James

Darren James

The Selby Coroner’s Office has issued a next-of-kin appeal following the sudden death of a 51-year-old man.

Darren James, who sometimes used the surname “Bottoms”, was found dead inside a house on New Millgate, Selby, on the morning of 12 November 2018.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious but the circumstances will be subject to an inquest at a later date.

So far the police and the Selby Coroner’s Office have been unable to locate Mr James’ family members.

Any relatives of Mr James, or anyone who can help to trace them, are asked to contact the coroner’s officer on 01609 643168.
