A MAN who contacted a woman he had previously attacked and threatened with a knife is back behind bars.
Richard Musgrave, 40, was originally jailed at Carlisle Crown Court in January for crimes against his then partner, Stacey Nicholson.
Musgrave received a 450-day prison term for an actual bodily harm assault and knife possession. He was said to have grabbed Miss Nicholson by the throat, held her down and then threatened her with a blade which he then carried as he chased her to a friend’s house.
Musgrave, previously of Flimby and now of no fixed address, was also handed a restraining order which banned him from contacting Miss Nicholson and approaching her address for two years. But he was handed an eight-week prison term in September for a first breach of that order.
And following his release from custody he then flouted it for a second time, on November 11, visiting her address after she invited him around “in order to get money”.
Musgrave, a drug addict with 152 offences to his name, admitted the breach. And at the crown court today (THURS) he was jailed for 14 weeks by Judge James Adkin.
