Police have received a report of a member of the public having lost her opiate-based prescription patches and are asking anyone who thinks they have come across them to contact police.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The member of the public contacted the police overnight (4 Dec) to report that they were lost.
“She believes she lost them whilst in Morrisons in Penrith on the afternoon of Thursday 29 November.
“Police are warning anyone who may have picked up the prescription to hand them in immediately and not to use any of the patches which have the potential to cause respiratory issues if misused and/or if all of the patches are used at once.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police referencing incident 219 of 4 December 2018.
