Police are appealing for information following the theft of 20 sheep described as Swaledales in the area of Dufton, Appleby between the 2nd and 6th December.
The sheep have identifying marks including two dots, one blue and one red, on the loin area as well as cut off ear tips and the other split.
Police are appealing for any information regarding this incident to contact police quoting log 164 of 6th December 2018.
Police would like to remind farmers and the public to be vigilant in rural areas of any suspicious individuals.
