A Cumbrian-based company has been shortlisted for a national award after supplying unique structures to events all over the world.
Inflate Works, based in Culgaith near Penrith, is in the running to win Best Temporary Structure in the Festival Supplier Awards 2019.
Set up in 2010, Inflate Works supplies architecturally-led temporary structures for events, festivals and brand activations in the UK, as well as Europe, America and Asia.
This year the specialist team has worked with national agencies and brands installing structures at Goodwood Festival of Speed, F1 and in Times Square, New York.
The awards, which take place in London next year, recognise the biggest achievements in the events industry throughout 2018.
Rob Statham, director of Inflate Works said: “This is the first time Inflate Works has been shortlisted for a national industry award so it’s already an achievement in itself.
“I’m pleased that all of the team’s hard work has been recognised. This year has been our best yet – we’ve taken on new staff, worked on some of our biggest events to date and this really has helped us finish the year on a high.”
Nick Crosbie, co-director of Inflate Works, said: “Not only is it great for Inflate Works, but it’s also brilliant to be recognised as a high-quality supplier in this industry.
“We believe that a successful project involves good design and an informed installation – that’s how we deliver a great experience for all of our clients.”
