FELL Foot, on the southern shores of Windermere, has announced it intends to recruit over 30 new roles ahead of an ambitious year for the National Trust park.

The newly-created roles – from entry level to experienced – are in food and beverage, retail, outdoors activities, and administration.

The growing team will support the increasingly varied offers on site, with a new outdoors active base recently installed and further developments planned in the coming months, including Heritage Lottery funded conservation of the boathouses.

Stephanie Byast, Fell Foot Operations Manager, said: “The next couple of years will be really exciting at Fell Foot and we need additional staff and volunteers to help us achieve our ambition.

“From dealing with rowing boat hire to making wood-fired pizza on the lakeshore, there’ll be something for everyone.”

A recruitment drop-in day will be held on 6 January at Fell foot, from 10am to 2pm, and is open to everyone. In the meantime, anyone wishing to find out more can visit
