Appeal after tools stolen from vans in Penrith

Police are appealing for witnesses with regards to a number of thefts from vans in the Castletown and Wetheriggs areas of Penrith, which occurred overnight between Saturday 15th December and Sunday 16th December.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A number of tools were taken from these vehicles.

“The public is being asked to remember to take tools out of vehicles and to fit appropriate security devices were possible.”

Anyone with information should call PC 2365 Threlkeld on 101 quoting log 64 of 16th December 2018 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
