Man charged after Carlisle burglary

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred on 1st January at approximately 3:25am in the area of Lightfoot drive, Carlisle.

Two unknown persons have entered the property and taken electronic items.

During the incident the offenders have taken the keys to a Ford Mondeo registration FE12 YJL and on the 2nd January stolen the car from the property.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Dale Graham, 35, of Charlotte Street, Carlisle, was arrested following this incident and has been charged with burglary. He was bailed to attend Carlisle Magistrates’ Court on 5 January 2019.

“It is believed that there may have been other persons allegedly involved in the offence and therefore Police would like to speak with anybody who may have seen anybody in the area.”

Police area appealing for any information or anyone who sees this vehicle to contact police quoting log 90 of 1st January 2019.
