Police hunt man who exposed himself to Barrow schoolgirl

Police are investigating the report of an indecent exposure, on Ainslie Street, at the junction with Harrogate Street, Barrow, between 3:50pm and 3:55pm on the 1st of January.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A man, described as in his 40s, walked passed a primary school-aged child, coughed in a manner to get her attention and indecently exposed himself to her. He then continued walking.

“The man is described as wearing a dark hooded top and blue jeans.”

Police are appealing for anyone in the area at the time of the incident, anyone who saw or heard anything, or anyone who can identify the man from the description to contact PC 1828 Tony JOHNSON on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
