Police probe Millom arson

Police are investigating a fire in the area of Queens Park, Millom on the 14th January at approximately 2:30am.

A garden shed and contents appear to have been deliberately set alight.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and were on scene for one hour and twenty three minutes.”

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area or who has information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 19 of 14th January 2019. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
