A Christmas party hosted by the Infrastructure Strategic Alliance (ISA) (Sellafield Ltd working with Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure and Arup in joint venture) has raised £1,250 to help the care, support and activities provided by Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice.
On Thursday 13 December people came together at Whitehaven Golf Club for a festive celebration. As part of the evening, the alliance hosted a charity raffle, with a wide range of prizes available, to raise money in aid of the children’s hospice.
Mark Jones, Head of the Infrastructure Strategic Alliance said, “The Infrastructure Strategic Alliance is dedicated to supporting charities in Cumbria. We saw our Christmas party as a great opportunity to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity. We hope that our donation will help to make a difference to the lives of local children and their families.”
Natalie Bingham, Corporate Relationship Co-ordinator at Jigsaw said, ‘’We are absolutely delighted that the ISA selected Jigsaw as a beneficiary of their recent Christmas party fundraiser. They have raised a fantastic total, one to be very proud of! On behalf of Jigsaw, a massive thank you to everybody who helped make this night such a success.’’
The money raised will help Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice to provide the highest standards of care, support and activities. Jigsaw is the children’s hospice for Cumbria.
