Little Salkeld scarecrow torched

Police are investigating an incident of criminal damage, close to the village of Little Salkeld, between 8:30pm on the 14th January and 9am on the 15th January.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “An unknown offender(S) have started a fire destroying a scarecrow and a pedal cycle.”

Police request anyone with any information that may assist in the investigation to contact PC 2749 Ballantyne on 101 quoting log 23 of 15th January 2019 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
