Firefighters tackle Kendal kitchen blaze

At 5:33pm yesterday, Wednesday 16 January, two fire engines from Kendal attended a fire on Low Fellside, Kendal involving a kitchen area at a commercial property.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.

“Fire crews were in attendance for forty minutes.”
