Odin Events has appointed Cumbria social media consultancy, Collective Comms, to raise its social media presence as renowned national brands flood their books.
Renowned to be one of the UK’s leading providers in event entertainment, brand marketing and prop hire, the Odin Events team are regularly packing up their equipment and touring the UK to deliver events to communities and business across the country.
Since launching in 2010 Odin Events has ventured further afield than its Cumbrian roots, securing contracts UK-wide and even gaining recognition from the British Grand Prix!
Shane Reed, Director Odin Events, said: “We’ve been thrilled to see our business grow over the years but 2018 in particular was a momentous year for us. We have won a number of contracts with household brands like O2 and Virgin Atlantic and have since gained real momentum which is so exciting.”
Following a successful year, during which the team also delivered events for Sky, Centre Parcs and Montane, Odin Events has now appointed social-media specialists Collective Comms to raise their social media profile and support in further growth for the north-west business.
Shane added: “Whilst we’re proud of our Cumbrian roots we’re also really lucky to be attracting exciting events from across the country and through social media we believe we can increase the visibility for our business even further, so we’re thrilled to have Collective Comms on board as our retained agency.”
Collective Comms, based in Windermere, provides social media strategy, advertising, training and management, plus content marketing and influencer marketing services to businesses in Cumbria and beyond.
Jenna Vernon, Collective Comms Director, said: “Like so many businesses, the Odin Events team has been so busy securing fantastic contracts and delivering a hugely successful service that they haven’t always been shouting about the great work they’re doing.
“It’s so exciting to be working with a Cumbrian business that is attracting such fantastic national contracts; to be able to support them in shining a light on their success and to deliver a social media strategy that will support their growth plans for 2019 and beyond.”
Odin Events closed 2018 by donating some of their most popular items to the Radio 1 Christmas party for young carers; a national campaign which saw companies from across the UK donating to the celebration which was covered on the BBC radio show, and it is news like this that Collective Comms will help Odin events to share and celebrate.
