Tributes paid to children murdered in Bolton

Darcey Stevens and Casey Taylor

Tributes have been paid to two young children whose bodies were found in Bolton.

The bodies of three-year-old Casey Lea Taylor and one-year-old Darcey Grace Stevens were sadly found at a property on Arthur Street, Little Lever on Monday 21 January 2019.

Shortly before 3.50pm police were called to the house to a report of a concern for the welfare of a woman.

Paying tribute to Casey Lea, her father Liam Taylor said: “Casey Lea was a beautiful little girl who was deeply loved by many and will be sadly missed by a lot of people.”

Paying tribute to Darcey, her father Gary Eden said: “I will love and miss Darcey forever and she will always live on through me.”

The body of the girls’ mother Tiffany Stevens, aged 27, was also found at the property.

The death of Tiffany Stevens is not being treated as suspicious.

The deaths of Casey Lea and Darcey are being treated as murder, but police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the murders.
