Firefighters tackle Carlisle shed fire

At 8:01pm yesterday, Tuesday 5 February fire engines from Carlisle east and Carlisle west were mobilised to an outbuilding fire on Drumburgh Avenue, Carlisle.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews found a fire involving a shed.

“Crews used one hose reel and one breathing apparatus set to extinguish the fire.

“Crews were detained approximately thirty minutes.”
