Police appeal after Walney burglary

Police are investigating a burglary at a residential property which occurred at approximately 10:15pm on Saturday 2nd February in the area of Powerful Street, Walney Island.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “During the incident a vehicle key was stolen.

“The suspects involved are alleged to be three males approximately 16-17 years old wearing hoodies.

“The suspects attempted to make off with a vehicle from outside of the property however ended up leaving on foot along Powerful Street towards Douglas Street.”

Anyone with any information or who witnessed this incident is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 228 of 2nd February 2019, Or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
