Man arrested after Ulverston assault

Police are investigating an incident that occurred on Tuesday 12th February at approximately 12pm at the entrance to Fountain Street Car Park, Ulverston.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A man, who was carrying a tray was verbally abused by another man who was in the company of a woman.

“A 37-year-old man from Ulverston was arrested on suspicion of common assault, threat to damage and attempted criminal damage to property and released under investigation.”
