Firefighters tackle Cleator Moor garage fire

At 10:54am today, Tuesday 19 February two fire engines from Whitehaven fire station attended a fire at Coniston Park, Cleator Moor.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The fire involved a garage and a gas bottle.

“Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a covering jet and were in attendance for one hour and ten minutes.”
