Police hunt three men after Kendal burglary

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at approximately 12:37pm today (21st February) at a property on Willow Drive, Kendal.

When the occupant returned home they disturbed three men within the property. The men, who were upstairs in the property, left when they were disturbed.

No one was hurt during the incident.

The men forced entry to the property via the back door.

A watch was taken during the incident.

The three men were reported to be wearing dark clothing including bobble hats and face coverings and left Willow drive onto Larch Grove towards Parkside Road.

Detective Constable Christopher Appleyard said: “Whilst incidents like this are rare in Cumbria, we are taking this report incredibly seriously and are actively investigating multiple lines of enquiry.

“Specialist officers and extra patrols have been deployed to the area whilst investigations are conducted.”
