Man hurt in attempted robbery in Workington

Police are investigating an attempted robbery which occurred on Wednesday 20th February at approximately 8:15pm on Ladies Walk in Workington next to Hall Brow.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A man was approached by two men and attacked from behind. Nothing was taken during the incident.

“The man suffered minor injuries.

“At the time of the offence the suspects were wearing dark hooded jumpers with their hoods up and tracksuit bottoms both held local accents.”
