Pedestrian hurt in Ambleside collision

Police are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred on Monday 25th February at approximately 4pm.

The collision took place at the junction of Lake Road and Church Street, Ambleside, between a pedestrian and a dark coloured Renault Clio.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A man in his 60s was taken to Preston Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.”

Anyone with information, particularly motorists who may have dash cam footage are asked to call PC 2451 MOODY on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 182 of 25th February 2019.
