Cumbria Police is appealing for information after a man was struck by an HGV on the M6 in the early hours of Saturday (23 February, 2019).
At around 3.15am on Saturday, 23 February 2019 Cumbria Police received a report of a man walking in the road on the M6 southbound carriageway who was then struck by a vehicle in the area of junction 44.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The injured man, who is 19 and from the Borders area, was taken to the RVI in Newcastle in a critical condition.
“His condition remains critical but stable.”
Anyone who witnessed this incident and has yet to contact police is asked to get in touch referencing incident 40 of 23 February 2019.
