The A66 has reopened after two bikers were injured in two separate road traffic collisions this morning.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A collision involving a Mercedes car and a motorcycle was reported on the road at Brigham at 7.56am.
“There were no life threatening injuries reported at the time.
“At 8.20am, a second collision – involving a BMW car and a motorcycle – was reported on the A66 at Bridgefoot.
“Again, there were no life threatening injuries reported at the time.”
Emergency services and an air ambulance attended the scene.
All lanes have now reopened.
