A MAN accused of raping a child has appeared at Carlisle Crown Court.
David Andrew Little, 54, faces four allegations, all of which he denied during a hearing earlier today (FRI) in front of Judge Peter Davies.
Little pleaded not guilty to charges alleging the rape of a child, the attempted rape of a child and two indecent assaults.
The same complainant is named in each of the allegations, which date back to the 1970s.
Little is now due to go on trial in front of a jury at the crown court.
Estimated to last three to four days, this hearing is expected to start on July 15.
In the meantime, Little, of The Crescent, Egremont, was granted conditional bail by Judge Davies.
