Firefighters tackle Tebay flat blaze

At 6:07pm yesterday, Thursday 14 March two fire engines from Kendal and Shap attended a fire within a flat on Lune Valley, Tebay.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a thermal image camera and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire and make the scene safe.

“Crews were in attendance for one hour and fifteen minutes.”
