Police appeal after Grange arson

Following new lines of enquiry, police are appealing for witnesses following the report of an incident of attempted arson in the public toilets, on Grange’s promenade, opposite the Lido.

This incident occurred on the evening of Tuesday 26th February 2019.

Damage was caused to the plastic straps of a baby’s changing unit in the toilets, causing in excess of £600 in damages.

A group of youths were seen acting in a manor described as suspicious close to the toilets around the time of the incident.

Police are keen to speak to these youths or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious that evening.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log number 47 of the 27th February 2019, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
