At 11:12am today, Sunday 17 March two fire engines from Whitehaven and Frizington responded to a fire confined to a first floor room of a domestic property on Duke Street in Cleator Moor.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.”
