Police appeal after extensive damage caused to Kendal church

St George’s Church

Police are investigating a burglary which occurred at St George’s Church, Kendal, on 16th March 2019 between the hours of 9.55pm-10:15pm.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A group of people were in the church at the time of the incident.

“Extensive damage was caused to the inside of the building.

“Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at that time who may have seen people acting suspiciously or entering the building.”
