Man arrested after Carlisle collision

Police are investigating a road traffic collision that occurred on London Road, Carlisle at the junction of Chertsey Bank that occurred on Saturday 16th March at approximately 5:28pm.

A 30-year-old man from the local area was arrested on suspicion of:

  • Driving a motor vehicle over the alcohol limit
  • Possession of criminal property
  • Aggravated vehicle taking
  • Dangerous driving
  • Driving without insurance
  • Driving without a licence.

He has since been released under investigation.

Police are looking for any dash cam or mobile phone footage of the collision and the moments after.
