Police are investigating two incidents which are believed to be linked which occurred between 5:05pm and 5:30pm on Monday 18th March in Workington.
The first incident occurred on Furness Road, Workington, where a man and a woman were assaulted by a man with grey hair, aged in his mid 40s.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The suspect at one point was carrying a wooden plank which he used to attack the other man.
“Following this was a case of criminal damage to a window on Bowness Court. This is suspected to have been committed by the same man.”
