Police appeal after Workington burglary

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred between 10:30pm on the 22nd and 6:30am on 23rd of March on Brayton St, Workington.

Unknown suspect/s have entered the premises through an unlocked front door.

Items including a purse, a wallet, a phone, a ring and a laptop were taken.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact 101 quoting log number 40 of the 23rd March, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Residents are reminded to double check their doors are locked before going to bed.

If anybody finds any documentation including driving licences, cards, wallets etc that could be related to this incident, please hand them in at your local police station.
