Police appeal after woman assaulted in Barrow

Police are investigating an assault which occurred on Crellin Street, Barrow at around 3am Monday 25th March.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “During the incident a woman holding an infant child was assaulted by another woman. The woman suffered minor injuries, the infant was uninjured.

“Police are appealing for any witnesses especially any members of the public that were in the taxi rank on Crellin Street, at that time.”
