Mylittlebrother are best described as indie-rock/pop with echoes of West Coast Americana and 60’s pop.
They are led by Penrith-based singer-songwriter Will Harris.
Will is also known as a member of Scottish band ‘Aaron Wright & the Aprils’, with whom he has worked with members of Teenage Fanclub, Belle & Sebastian, Camera Obscura, The Blue Nile and many more. Over the past 10 years they have toured with the likes of The Charlatans, Ocean Colour Scene and Eliza Doolittle, and appeared at festivals across Europe including Glastonbury, Benicassim, Latitude, T in the park, Electric Picnic and dozens more.
As well as the singer-songwriter, Will also plays the piano and he is joined by Dan Mason on guitar/vocals, Robin Howson on bass/vocals and Simon Buttress on drums/vocals. Their 3 EPs and 1 album have received rave reviews, and gained airplay from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, BBC Local Radio, Radio Caroline and many more, and have featured on BBC television, ITV, Channel 4 and in several short films.
Tom Robinson, of BBC 6 music, described their debut single ‘Nosedive’ as “A worthy contender for record of the week”. They have recently released 2 new singles ‘Love Song For An Island’ and ‘Cyanide’ reflecting their new, fuller sound.
They have performed all over the UK, including many festival dates including Kendal Calling, Solfest, Butefest, and many more, and supported acts such as Frank Turner and Juniore across the UK. For 3 years running they have had sold-out gigs at Skiddaw House hostel, with 2018’s performance selling out in 4 days.
