Cyclist assaulted after Barrow collision

Police are investing an assault which occurred at approximately 7:15pm on Schneider Road, Barrow.

A man was knocked off his bike near the Tally Ho pub by a Vauxhall Meriva.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The vehicle subsequently stopped and following an altercation between the passenger of the car and the cyclist, the cyclist received a broken nose.

“The passenger is described as male, white, 6ft, medium build, around 30 years old with black hair.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact police on 101 quoting log number 243 of the 15th of April 2019, Or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
